A perennial favourite, Much Ado tells the well-loved story of Beatrice and Benedick, two young lovers who trade insults to disguise their own fears of admitting their true feelings. Of course, everyone else in the story can tell that they're crazy about each other, and stage a crafty plot to get them to admit it.
At the same time, the happy romance of the other two lovers, Hero and Claudio, is attacked by the nefarious Donna Juanita, who causes trouble just for fun. But in the end her plots are foiled because of the intervention of the clueless bumpkin Dogberry and all the upset turns out to be - yes - Much Ado About Nothing.
