Anurag Basu’s Barfi! has not only spread its sweetness in India, but is now set to go international! After a huge success at the box-office, the team of Barfi! has yet another big reason to celebrate. The Film Federation of India (FFI) has selected Barfi! as India’s official entry for the Academy Awards in best foreign language film category.
Barfi!, a romantic comedy, was chosen over 19 movies for the honourable Oscar nomination. The movie is a story of a mute-deaf boy – Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor) and his love interests Shruti (Ileana D’Cruz) and Jhilmil (Priyanka Chopra).
