ACTRESS Karen Gillan really is on a run of good luck just now.
The Doctor Who star took to her heels yesterday during filming for her latest movie.
But she admitted all the sweat was worth it just to be back in Scotland.
Karen, 24, was in Glasgow filming rom-com Not Another Happy Ending. But the Inverness-born actress said she couldn’t be happier to be back north of the Border again.
She added: “It’s great to be filming in here and hanging around the Merchant City. The last role I did was Jean Shrimpton so it’s good to try something different now.”
In the new movie, Karen’s character has writer’s block.
She added: “The writer I play can’t write when she’s happy but I think I’m better at acting when I’m happy – although maybe not. That’s a really difficult one.
“This girl certainly can’t write when she is happy so her publisher goes on a secret mission to make her life miserable and it’s about that kind of relationship.”
