Joan Jett is developing a new romantic comedy called Undateable John. The rocker will executive produce the film under her company Blackheart Films, as well as star in a supporting role.
According to Deadline, the dark romantic film will star Jett as a Venice Beach folk singer who befriends a couple during an AA meeting.
Estella Warren and John Philbin will play the romantic leads, with the cast also including Daryl Hannah, Margaret Cho, Meredith Baxter, Tom Arnold and Shannen Doherty.
