'Lend me a Tenor' RomCom Lights Up the Westside

POCATELLO — What a wonderful start to October! Westside Players opened their final show of the season “Lend Me A Tenor” by Ken Ludwig. Phil Shepherd was the brilliant director who pulled together a great cast for this hilarious Romantic comedy. The dinner was catered by Café Tuscano, and it was fabulous! The lobby artist was Barbara Swanson. Her pieces were so beautifully done. They were very vibrant and colorful. I especially loved the painting of people who were on inner tubes and lazing about, made me think of summer. I loved it.

The comedy begins with Maggie getting weak at the knees listening to Tito the famous Italian Opera Star. She is interrupted in her reverie by Max who is in a panic because Tito has not arrived to sing for the show that night. Maggie was played by this sweet innocent faced Lacey Taylor. She was so cute dancing around the stage waiting to meet her crush. She wants to have one more fling before she officially settles down with someone.
