'About Time's first splash, featuring Rachel McAdams



Romantic comedy, time travel and Rachel McAdams -- they will all blend together in "About Time," with the first image arriving today.
Co-starring Domhnall Gleeson (who is great as the emotionally wounded, sensitive Levin in "Anna Karenina"), the film is the latest from "Love Actually" writer/director Richard Curtis that tells the story of a man who can time-travel and ends up meeting the girl of his dreams.

Vega Tamotia to star in Romantic Comedy with Vir Das

Actress Vega Tamotia, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with "Chittagong", has bagged a romantic comedy opposite Vir Das.
The 27-year-old, who has already worked in Tamil and Telegu movies, just finished shooting the film tentatively titled "Amit Sahni Ki List" and says her role is completely opposite from her freedom fighter character in "Chittagong".
"My next film is a romantic comedy opposite Vir Das. I finished shooting for it last month. It is completely different from the one I play in 'Chittagong'. I play a fun,
mad woman in it," Vega said.

Anne Hathaway joins Mindy Kaling comedy

Anne Hathaway is attached to the romantic comedy The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie, co-written by Mindy Kaling and The Office writer Brent Forrester.  The project, about a self-conscious gal involved with losers whose love life perks up when a supreme hottie pursues her, is still without a director. Kaling and Forrester will also co-produce.

Universal hires Dana Fox to pen new romantic comedy 'The Gauntlet'

Universal Hires Writer To Pen Romantic Comedy The Gauntlet image

With her new Fox comedy series Ben and Kate recently receiving a full season order, screenwriter Dana Fox could have her hands full with her small screen work, but she isn't out of ideas for features. In the case of The Gauntlet, while the idea is Fox's, Universal is bringing someone else in to pen the script for the comedy, which is set to be produced by Scott Stuber through Bluegrass Films.

Adam Brody's Q&A about 'juicy' new film role in 'The Oranges' as well as his past

Adam Brody gave a one-on-one at a recent Manhattan press event for the movie 'The Oranges' .

In the romantic comedy drama, “The Oranges,” Adam Brody plays Toby Walling, the son of David and Paige Walling (Hugh Laurie and Catherine Keener). Toby’s younger sister Vanessa is played by Alia Shawkat. They all live in Orange, New Jersey, next door to their best friends, Terry and Cathy Ostroff (Oliver Platt, Allison Janney). When the Ostroff's sexy 24-year old daughter Nina (Leighton Meester) shows up unexpectedly for Thanksgiving, worlds are tossed upside down.
