A SHORT FILM about love by Tan Seng Kiat took the top honours at the recent 7th BMW Shorties 2013 Awards Night.Tan’s 32°C Fall in Love, a 14-minute romantic comedy, beat 71 other short film submissions to take home the RM75,000 production grant from BMW Group Malaysia as well as the coveted title of BMW Shorties 2013 grand prize winner.
The film revolves around the love of a security guard for a storekeeper. It demonstrates how love can be found in the most bizarre of circumstances as Tan has the story played out during a staged store robbery.
