She may not wear a cape or battle evil villains, but super intern Maeghan Smulders has a skill set that is probably more useful than Spidey sense.

Smulders, a 24-year-old Calgary native, graduated from Mount Royal University last June with 29 job offers on the table. Not quite keen on the job options presented, she set out to find the perfect position by interning at 10 different companies in 112 days. Smulders' speed-interning experiment landed her an additional 18 job offers, including "the one," a position at Canadian startup Beyond the Rack.

"I really hope that this journey inspires other students to not limit themselves upon graduating," she said. "You invest a ton of money into an education; you should be able to invest it into your future job too. If you're taking a job for the next five to 10 years of your life, you want to make sure it's the right one. Be persistent and really search for what you want to do."
